Dedicated to Advancing Database Engineering Standards
At D&B Knowles System Learning LLC, we believe that master database tools are only as effective as the engineering principles behind them. Based in O'Fallon, Illinois, we equip technical professionals with practical, verified skills in DBeaver database software.
Solving the Multi-Tool Chaos in Modern Data Teams
Over the past decade, cloud data architectures exploded in complexity. Engineering teams frequently found themselves managing PostgreSQL for core transactions, MySQL for legacy microservices, Oracle for finance, and Snowflake for data warehousing.
Engineers were juggling half a dozen different IDEs, causing severe context switching, licensing sprawl, and critical security gaps. DBeaver emerged as the industry's premier universal database tool, capable of bridging all these systems under one unified interface.
However, most organizations never unlocked DBeaver's full capabilities. They used it merely as a basic query runner, missing out on visual execution plans, structural ER modeling, SSH jump tunneling, and transactional safeguards. D&B Knowles System Learning LLC was founded to close that educational void.
Core Educational Tenets
We don't teach on trivial 10-row toy tables. Our students practice on 15,000,000-row databases with deliberate architectural flaws and latency issues.
Accidental DROPs and uncommitted locks bring companies down. We instill defensive database operation protocols into every exercise.
We impart deep architectural principles that translate effortlessly across PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and modern cloud data warehouses.
Led by Certified Database Practitioners
Our instructors are not theoretical lecturers. They are veteran database architects with decades of real-world production experience.
Donald Knowles
20+ years in distributed database architecture and SQL performance tuning. Formerly Lead Infrastructure Architect for enterprise financial clearing systems. Specializes in PostgreSQL internals and execution plan deconstruction.
Brianne Bennett, PE
Former Lead DBA managing multi-terabyte MySQL and Oracle clusters across healthtech and logistics enterprises. Expert in ER structural modeling, zero-downtime data migrations, and database high-availability.
Tariq Rahman
Specialist in modern cloud data platforms, Snowflake warehouse optimization, and CloudBeaver enterprise deployments with SAML/SSO and role-based access control.
